Orton-Gillingham
OG is a multisensory, explicit, and sequential approach that breaks down reading and spelling into smaller skills that are built over time.

OG is a highly effective approach for teaching students with dyslexia and other learning differences. The approach provides students with tailored learning.
Summer Intensive
Similar to One-on-One, we start with a variety of assessments to understand the student's current learning level to build the foundation for an individualized tutoring plan.
The focus of the program will be working with your student on the individual reading, writing, and math skills required to be on track when the next school year kicks-off!

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors in Communication, and received my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. I've spent my career teaching third-grade in Montgomery County Public Schools leading the inclusion classroom and achieving various certifications in Special Education.

Individualized Learning
I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to student learning. I am passionate about helping students discover the learning style that works best for them to not only help them thrive academically, but to build their confidence. The classroom has become a place that is near impossible to reach all students’ abilities because of the curriculum requirements that push students along before they have been able to master the skills they need in later grades. My goal is to help students stop feeling like they are always trying to “catch up,” and ensure students do not ever have to get to that point.
